Expected tasks (new projects / optimization):
- Development / cooperation / implementation of Production or/and Warehouse layouts with a focus on logistic and material flows
- Do / cooperate / support in calculations of storage space for raw material / finished products in area of warehouses and productions
- Cooperate with Packaging logistic specialist in respect of cost saving and reduction of volume packaging
- Optimization of Production Plans, including suggestions of replacement of units or tools
- Communication between productions sites in respect of material flow optimization / improvement
- Day on hand analysis with focus on reduction of lead time
- Communication with suppliers, carriers, creation of escalation matrix in coo-work with productions sites
- Creation of standard of working / packing instructions in respect to global standardization of processes
- Cooperation and support in project transfer, SOP, run-ups, EOP
- Support during stock taking of material & packaging
- Search for cost savings and developing
Requirements:
- 5 years of provable previous experience in serial logistic in automotive or min. 3 years of experience in projects logistic
- proven experience with the work in the multicultural environment
- Logistic processes knowledge, JIS, JIT, inclusive improvement tools such as KAIZEN, 5S etc.
- Good skills in MS Office
- Willingness to travel
- Team player with strong communication skills
- English communication
